The Miss Universe Jamaica Organization is pleased to announce Dr. Gabrielle Henry, an ophthalmology resident at The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), as Miss Universe Jamaica 2025. In addition to claiming the national title, Dr. Henry has been named the brand-new ambassador for pageant title sponsor Hyundai Jamaica.
Dr. Henry emerged victorious on Saturday night at a standing-room-only grand coronation held in the AC Hotel Ballroom, St. Andrew. The elegant affair was emceed by the talented media personality Debbie Bissoon.
Outshining 26 other remarkable contestants, Dr. Henry also distinguished herself by capturing four sectional awards: Best in Swimwear, Personality Award, Media Challenge, and Altruism Award.
Miss Universe Jamaica East, Troy Ann Anderson, was awarded first runner-up, while Matea Smith secured the second runner-up position. Dr. Henry received her crown from outgoing titleholder Rachel Silvera, marking a new chapter in Jamaica’s journey on the global stage.
Dr. Henry will proudly represent Jamaica at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled for November 21, 2025, in Thailand.
